Susan Learned of SLI Global Solutions recently attended the Healthcare Stimulus Exchange Program presented by Healthcare IT Connect in Chicago.  Healthcare IT Connect was established in 2008 to support collaboration among HIT professionals on EHR/EMR systems and health strategies.  The conference was attended by Health IT professionals, State and local Government agencies, representatives from Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS), CEOs and CIOs of hospitals and non-profit organizations, and health insurance providers.  Discussions centered around healthcare stimulus initiatives such as Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and meaningful use.
